Many of their instruments are made with an Australian wood called Bunya. Bunya is a light-weight yet strong wood which is identifiable with very light to dark vertical striping. The tone Bunya produces is generally warm and bright at the same time. Another advantage of Bunya is environmental impacts. While spruce is a standard wood in many acoustics, it takes several hundred years for the tree to mature. Bunya, however, only takes 60 to 80 years to mature, making it more sustainable for the environment. When you're considering a new instrument, consider Cole Clark.
